SpiceJet to offer Rs.777 charge on its routes

IANS to celebrate its seventh centenary and to entice more passengers in the peak travel time of year, low cost carrier SpiceJet Tuesday proclaimed an only one of its kind scheme by offering one way and round trip flight tickets for Rs.777 excluding taxes on journeys till Oct 27.

"This is one of the best offers in up to date times among rising airfares in the domestic market," said Neil Mills, chief managerial, SpiceJet.

"Passengers can book tickets at Rs.777 plus the government taxes."

The bookings for the out of the ordinary fares will open on May 23, 2012 from 7 a.m. and will last for 77 minutes, he added.

SpiceJet began its profitable operations on May 23, 2005 and at present has over 17 percent of market share in the domestic market.
