New hotel opens in downtown Wichita


Workmen were still creating some finishing touches within and out of doors the building Wed morning, however a brand new hotel is open for business in downtown Wichita in the week.

The Ambassador hotel was created by urban center building developer Paul Coury within the former Union commercial bank building at Stephen Arnold Douglas and street. The building has historical significance because the website of a civil rights civil disobedience at the previous Dockum Drug Store in 1958.

The building planned a soft gap Wed night with AN invitation-only event for invited guests. a brand new Year's Eve party is planned weekday night, and building officers say spring and summer wedding bookings area unit filling up.

The building has 117 rooms and suites, along side conference area and therefore the Siena Tuscan restaurant eating place.
